Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Aprepa ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.
2. Not Legal Advice — Critical Disclaimer
Aprepa is an educational and preparation tool only. It is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.
The questions and information generated by the Service are based on general patterns of asylum hearings and do not constitute legal counsel specific to your case. Immigration law is complex, fact-specific, and constantly changing.
You should always consult a licensed immigration attorney before, during, and after any asylum proceedings. Reliance on this tool alone, without qualified legal representation, may harm your case.
3. AI Limitations and Accuracy
The Service uses artificial intelligence models to generate content. AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information; may not reflect recent changes in immigration law or DHS policy; may not be applicable to every jurisdiction, immigration court, or individual judge; and is not a substitute for professional legal preparation.
We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of AI-generated content.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of a minor, you take full responsibility for their use.
5. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account use.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to bypass, manipulate, or exploit the AI system (including prompt injection attacks); share your account credentials with others; resell or sublicense access to the Service; upload content that is illegal, harmful, or that you do not have the right to share; use automated tools to scrape or abuse the Service; impersonate any person or entity.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a monthly or annual basis as selected at checkout.
Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel anytime from your account settings — cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, no partial refunds are issued. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Chargebacks determined to be fraudulent will result in immediate account termination.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, code, and branding are owned by the Operator and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission.
You retain ownership of the case information you provide. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a limited license to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aprepa and its Operator shall not be liable for: any outcome of your asylum case, hearing, or immigration proceeding; any reliance on AI-generated content without independent legal verification; loss of data, loss of access, or service interruptions; indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages of any kind.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aprepa and its Operator from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we determine at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the Operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service.
